How did Redline Cellars WineCharity begin?

As owners of Redline Cellars, Eric Krupka & James Maciejewski, have always been very involved in charities and giving back to the community since starting out in the business world.  After the website went live we were asked to donate to many different charities and we were happy to do so.  A few months later one of our best clients asked us if we could do a private tasting with a portion of the proceeds going to his charity, we agreed and were able to give a substantial amount to a great organization.  Since then we have done a few more private tastings and meet lots of great people involved in many different charities around the country.  We saw the success the charities had with raising funds by this method and knew we could help many more do the same.  Hence, the concept of a ‘True Wine Charity Store’ was born.

Redline Cellars WineCharity is not privately labeled wine that is bought once as a novelty, rather we are a full service online wine and spirits retailer willing to give a substantial portion of each sale a donor makes back to the charity of their they support.  There are no gimmicks, the price a donor pays is the same price any customer pays for wine and spirits from us.  We truly are taking the percentage we donate to the charity out of our own pockets.

How do we do it?
Simple, we take 10% of every sales gross total of wine and spirits and donate it back on a quarterly basis to the partner charity.  If a donor buys $100 worth of wine we donate $10 to the charity.

Our Mission:
To partner with great charities and help them raise the funds they desperately need by giving their donor base a place to buy the wine and spirits they love.  This is the easiest way to fund raise as donors are already buying, why not direct them to where they can buy and the charity will benefit.
