Description
88 Points, Robert Parker: The 2011 Sauvignon Blanc exhibits pungent, earthy, grassy notes along with hints of melon and other tropical fruits in addition to a serious texture for a Sauvignon. Not surprisingly, 15% of it was barrel-fermented in neutral French oak. This is a Sauvignon Blanc for those readers who enjoy the exotic, personality-filled characteristics of this grape. By the way, I also tasted a Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon from Edna Valley that could not be recommended. – R.P. (08/2012)

85 Points Wine Enthusiast: A touch of oak influence lends smokiness to the lime, Meyer lemon and tropical fruit flavors. With its crisp acidity that creates a sweet-and-sour taste, this wine is for drinking now as a cocktail sipper or with ham or Chinese food. – S.H. (4/1/2013)
