93 Points, Wine Enthusiast: There’s quite an impressive Cabernet in here, but it’s nowhere near ready to drink now. All the parts are there: rich, pure tannins, ripe blackberry and currant fruit, sweet toasty oak and a fine edge of acidity. But it all needs time to knit together. Wine Spectator: Very tight and concentrated, with roasted herb, dried currant, berry, cedar, sage and mineral notes. Full-bodied, ending with a dry cedary aftertaste. Decant. Drink now through 2019. – J.L. (11/15/2011)
